BYD Battery connected with Solis 6KW, my issue is, after sunlight if my grid is on (means K-Electric). then total load is on my grid instead of battery. due to this my units consumption increase daily. attached snap.

Recommended Fixes:
1. Change Load Priority Mode
Check your Solis inverter’s working mode:
Go to: Menu > Work Mode
Set mode to: Self-use (or similar)
This allows battery to discharge at night to supply your loads before grid is used.
Also known as "Load First / Battery First" mode depending on model.
2. Disable “On Grid Always ON”
In the Smart Port Settings (second image):
Uncheck On grid always on
This will stop the system from defaulting to grid, and encourage it to pull from the battery.
3. Ensure Discharge Permission Is Enabled
In battery settings, make sure:
Battery discharge is allowed at night.
Check if there's a discharge time window (some inverters restrict discharge to certain hours).
If SOC lower limit is too high (e.g. 80%), battery won’t discharge — reduce it to 20–30%.
4. Battery Communication OK
Ensure your BYD battery is communicating properly (looks okay in screenshot).
But still worth checking firmware compatibility or BMS settings if discharge still doesn't occur.
5. Update Firmware (if required)
Sometimes, older firmware limits hybrid control logic. If your inverter is not functioning properly even after configuration, a firmware update may be necessary (consult Solis support).
